The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a skilled care setting. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues to ensure seamless care coordination and work closely with residents and their families to address their unique needs and concerns.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate residents' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, therapists, and other team members to ensure comprehensive care coordination and effective communication.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and providing emotional support and education to residents and their families.
- Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions, collaborating with healthcare providers to adjust care plans as needed.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel, ensuring safe and reliable care delivery.
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program, with a Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing, with multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
- Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
