Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor, assess, and update project schedules while maintaining communication with subcontractors and suppliers regarding timelines.
  • Accurately evaluate and process change orders or proposed modifications.
  • Ensure adherence to contract specifications and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collect and submit all necessary As-Built documentation, warranties, and operational instructions.
  • Distribute current plans and specifications to subcontractors and vendors.
  • Prepare invitations to bid for specialized trades.
  • Assist the project manager in controlling costs and procuring goods and services, including negotiating bids and preparing subcontracts.
  • Support the superintendent in addressing Requests for Information (RFIs) and resolving missing contract documents.
  • Oversee the resolution of punch-list items.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial construction with a general contractor.
  • Experience with public works projects, particularly those exceeding $50 million, is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of construction equipment, techniques, drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software (such as Procore), and scheduling tools (like P6).
