Job Title: Education Assistant
About the Role:
This is a 30 hour per week position working with students with disabilities in various settings. The successful candidate will possess a high school diploma, effective communication skills, and proficiency in computer applications.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Support students in developing independent life skills, including meal preparation and hygiene
- Accompany students on job sites and assist with job preparation
- Complete work journals and maintain confidentiality of student information
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and Google Drive
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Salary Range: $40,000 - $55,000 per annum
