Position Overview:
This role is designed for a Senior Financial Analyst who will contribute to the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team. The ideal candidate will have experience in contract revenue and life sciences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, organize, and analyze data from various systems to manage revenue entries, journal entries, and other financial transactions.
  • Adapt to evolving business requirements and implement solutions swiftly.
  • Support initiatives aimed at improving RCM processes.
  • Continuously review and enhance processes to strengthen controls, boost productivity, and minimize costs.
  • Assist the revenue team in ensuring compliance with US GAAP and company policies regarding contracts and agreements, including revenue recognition for fixed fee projects using the percentage of completion method.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting of essential revenue data as required.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting; an MBA with an accounting focus is a plus.
  • Experience in public accounting or revenue/technical accounting within a public company, or a combination of both is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in contract management and project accounting is desired.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, including ASC 606 and US GAAP.
  • Familiarity with Order to Cash processes.
  • Proficiency in accounting, finance, contract, and project accounting is strongly preferred.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong Excel capabilities, including data manipulation and pivot tables.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; self-motivated and an independent thinker.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Motivated to learn and take on additional responsibilities.
  • Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is preferred.
  • Experience with Peoplesoft is advantageous.
