Key Responsibilities
  • Surgical Assistance: Provide support to surgeons and other medical staff during operating room procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
  • Patient Preparation: Prepare patients for surgery by administering medications, cleaning and disinfecting equipment, and assisting with positioning.
  • Instrument Management: Maintain and sterilize surgical instruments, ensuring they are ready for use at all times.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with medical staff, patients, and families to ensure seamless coordination and minimize errors.
Requirements
  • Certification: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified First Assistant (CFA) certification highly desirable.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with completion of an accredited surgical technology program.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience as a surgical technologist preferred.
