Software Systems Engineer

EVONA is seeking a highly skilled Software Systems Engineer to provide technical expertise and support for government programs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing software systems that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Governance and Documentation:
  • Develop and maintain governance documents, including APIs and digital engineering practices.
  • Manage software configuration control processes to ensure stakeholder requirements are met.
  • Define and implement UI/UX standards for software products.
  • Consultation and Troubleshooting:
  • Provide expert consultation on quality assurance and software safety practices.
  • Support investigations of software anomalies and participate in system development IPTs.
  • Troubleshoot development and operational issues.
  • Collaboration and Development:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver solutions.
  • Participate in technical discussions and stay current on industry best practices.
  • Design process automation and scripts for provisioning, monitoring, and managing software deployments.
Required Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant technical experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience working within SAP in the past 5 years.
  • Proficiency with databases and tools like Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server.
  • Experience in the design and implementation of Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, and Mattermost.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of data interface standards and communication protocols.
  • Experience with Multi-Domain/Multi-Level Security architectures.
  • Familiarity with DoD Acquisition Lifecycle or Rapid Delivery processes.
