Job Summary

We are seeking a Graduate Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Baptist Memorial Health Care. As a Graduate Respiratory Therapist, you will provide respiratory care to patients using critical thinking skills and collaboration with licensed RRT level therapists.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients and develop plans of care in conjunction with licensed RRT level therapists.
  • Implement plans of care and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and provide patient, family, and/or significant other health teaching/education.
  • Participate in activities designed to improve healthcare delivery and communicate/collaborate with others in providing patient care.
  • Support life-long learning and complete assigned goals.
Requirements
  • Academic and clinical preparation acquired within the prior 12 months.
  • TN-proof of completion of academic and clinical preparation in a respiratory care program approved by CAAHEP in collaboration with CoARC or their successor.
  • TN-High school diploma or equivalent and complete training in respiratory care program which has been approved by TN Respiratory Care Examining Committee.
