Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Phlebotomist III to join our team at A+ Consulting. As a Phlebotomist III, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients and preparing them for laboratory testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect blood samples from patients using a variety of techniques, including venipuncture and capillary collections.
  • Prepare blood samples for laboratory testing by labeling, sorting, and packaging them according to established procedures.
  • Ensure that all blood samples are handled and stored in a safe and secure manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and colleagues, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of blood sample collections and laboratory testing results.

Requirements:

  • Five years of experience as a Phlebotomist, with a minimum of three years in a Patient Service Center environment.
  • Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and supervisors.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with medical training or certification preferred.
