We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Lakeside at Mallard Landing, a senior living community dedicated to providing exceptional care and services to our residents.
About the RoleAs an LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. Your expertise will be essential in creating a safe and supportive environment that promotes independence, dignity, and well-being.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents, including health assessments, medication management, and wound care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs and goals of each resident.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Monitor and report any changes in resident condition, ensuring timely interventions and adjustments to care plans as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practices in senior care.
- Two years of LPN experience in assisted living or nursing home settings.
- Current LPN license in good standing.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathy and compassion.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
