Job Description: Life Enrichment Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and caring Life Enrichment Assistant to join our team at Community Access Services. As a key member of our care team, you will work closely with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), supporting them in achieving their personal goals and participating in community activities.

Estimated Salary: $21-22 per hour + $1,000 Hiring Bonus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Encourage and support individuals in achieving their personal goals and participating in community activities.
  • Assist with daily living, personal care, and household tasks.
  • Administer medications (training provided) and document health and behavioral updates accurately.
  • Foster a safe and respectful environment in both home and community settings.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED (required).
  • Compassionate, patient, and dedicated individual ready to advocate for people with disabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and eligibility to drive for the company.
  • Ability to pass a national background check.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform related tasks.
