StarPlus Energy, a leading player in the e-mobility sector, is seeking an experienced Strategic Procurement Financial Analyst to join its dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving procurement excellence and ensuring financial alignment with business objectives.

This challenging opportunity offers a competitive salary of $110,000 - $140,000 per annum, based on qualifications and experience. As a key member of the procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective purchasing strategies, analytics, and reporting processes that align with company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement purchasing finance processes and analytics to ensure data-driven decision-making.
  • Serve as a liaison between procurement operations and finance functions, facilitating communication and collaboration.
  • Lead initiatives to reduce technical costs, manage budgets, and optimize expenses by product.
  • Identify financially distressed suppliers and collaborate with departments to mitigate risks and ensure uninterrupted production.
  • Analyze data from systems like SAP using tools like Qlik Sense to generate management reports, track KPIs, and support strategic planning.
  • Conduct global trend analyses on raw materials, explain variances, and support budget preparation and savings objectives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in purchasing, cost accounting, or finance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or Accounting.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large datasets.
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior supervisory and leadership experience.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt easily to change.
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage large volumes of data.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work around potential exposure to dust and chemicals.
  • Ability to wear appropriate PPE as deemed essential for the job function.
