Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Donation Attendant to join our team at Goodwill Industries. As a Donation Attendant, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional service to donors, ensuring a positive experience, and contributing to the success of our donation centers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Donor Interaction: Greet and assist donors in a friendly and professional manner, providing clear instructions and guidance on the donation process.
• Donation Processing: Sort and process donations, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of items.
• Customer Service: Offer tax receipts, acknowledge donors, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of donation activity, including tracking and recording donations.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the Transportation Supervisor and truck drivers to ensure smooth donation pickups and deliveries.

Requirements:

• Physical Demands: Ability to transfer donated goods from vehicles to the donation center, regularly lift up to 50 pounds, and perform other physical tasks as required.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
