Role Summary:

The Portfolio Analyst is tasked with overseeing borrower performance, pinpointing discrepancies from anticipated outcomes, and escalating credit issues to the portfolio management team. This role emphasizes the importance of comprehending clients' operational dynamics and requirements, fostering robust relationships both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute thorough financial assessments of borrowers' credit and collateral, focusing on meticulous data collection and analysis.
  • Ensure borrower adherence to the Loan & Security Agreement.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial, operational, valuation, and transactional evaluations.
  • Support the underwriting process for modifications or renewals, contributing to presentations for the credit committee.
  • Perform detailed borrower risk evaluations.
  • Uphold data accuracy within internal banking systems concerning financials and other critical information.
  • Generate internal reports and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with management teams of portfolio companies to grasp their performance and financial necessities.
  • Engage in travel to client locations as required.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience or background in public accounting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
  • Preferred: Master's degree or higher.
  • Proficient in analyzing financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Possess strong analytical capabilities and resourcefulness for conducting in-depth industry and market analyses.
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable with direct client interactions.
  • Above-average proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
  • Self-motivated with exceptional attention to detail.

Salary Range: $59,000 - $80,106.00 USD; final compensation will be determined based on the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and market data alignment.
