Harmony United Psychiatric Care is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologist/Neuropsychologist to join our team of mental health professionals. As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to determine your working hours and choose from a variety of services to offer, including psychotherapy and counseling, neuropsychological testing, and medication management.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive psychological assessments, diagnoses, and therapeutic interventions for patients with a range of mental health conditions.
- Offer different modalities of psychotherapy and counseling services, including individual and group therapy.
- Conduct neuropsychological and neurocognitive testing services to help patients understand their cognitive strengths and weaknesses.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families about mental health conditions, neuropsychological findings, and therapeutic strategies.
- Document services rendered in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Stay current with advancements in psychology and neuropsychology through ongoing education and professional development.
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.)
- Experience in conducting neurocognitive and neuropsychological testing is preferred
- License in the state of Florida or in the process of obtaining one
- Work experience in an outpatient setting is preferred
- $75 per billable hour
- Group malpractice insurance
