A Room Attendant is primarily tasked with ensuring that guest accommodations, corridors, and communal areas within the hotel are kept clean and appealing. This includes daily servicing of guest rooms in line with hotel protocols, restocking the housekeeping cart with necessary supplies, changing bed linens, and replenishing guest amenities while adhering to company standards and safety/security guidelines.

Occasionally, this role may also involve performing 'deep cleaning' tasks within guest rooms alongside preventative maintenance duties.

Maintain consistent attendance in accordance with company standards as required by scheduling, which will vary based on hotel needs.


Uphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the appropriate uniform and name tag while on duty (per brand standards).

Adhere to company standards and regulations at all times to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.

Thoroughly clean and restock the designated number of guest rooms during each shift.

Complete all pre-cleaning tasks, including but not limited to preparing guest supplies, cleaning materials, and linens for the housekeeping cart.

Remove all waste and soiled linens from guest rooms.

Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

May be required to disassemble furniture or items in the guest room to facilitate deep cleaning.


Deep cleaning tasks may include, but are not limited to, changing air conditioning filters, cleaning AC coils, touching up paint on walls and moldings, repairing scratched furniture, or rehanging sliding doors.
