Job Title: Registered Nurse

At Steward Health Care, we are committed to delivering high-quality patient care and exceptional service. We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Wadley Regional Medical Center.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse will provide direct and indirect patient care, participate in patient/family/staff education, and maintain current knowledge and standards of professional nursing practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and documenting patient information.
  • Participate in patient/family/staff education, including developing and implementing educational programs and materials.
  • Maintain current knowledge and standards of professional nursing practices, including staying up-to-date on the latest medical research and technologies.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans, including identifying patient needs and developing strategies to meet those needs.
  • Provide safe practices in all aspects of patient care and activities, including maintaining a safe and clean environment and following infection control protocols.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in nursing (ADN) from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current RN license for the State of Texas or current compact state license.
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Experience working with electronic medical records systems.
  • Consistent work history and longevity with previous employers.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Critical care experience.
  • 2 years of nursing experience.
