The Cook II at DCA is responsible for delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our guests. This role requires the ability to prepare food to the correct temperature, portion, and plating specifications while maintaining a clean and sanitized environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare food to OTG specifications and restaurant directions
- Ensure all food items are ready at the same time as others on the same order
- Maintain organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipment
- Knowledge of operating all kitchen equipment
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and work toward the goal of guest satisfaction
To be successful in this role, you must be at least 18 years of age, fully conversational in English, and have 2 or more years of culinary experience in a fast-paced dining restaurant. You must also be able to lift 35 lbs. or more and be available to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, holidays, and bad weather conditions.
