Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Excelsior Springs Hospital. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation and recovery of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and develop individualized plans of care for patients, taking into consideration their needs and limitations.
  • Provide skilled therapy services to patients, including evaluation, treatment, and education.
  • Consult with attending physicians to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Supervise and delegate responsibilities to supportive staff, including Physical Therapy Assistants and Rehab Techs.
  • Develop and implement home care programs for patients, including written instructions and educational materials.
  • Assess and address the psychosocial needs of patients and their families.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatment information.
Requirements
  • Active license to practice Physical Therapy in the State of Missouri or a permit from the licensing board to practice while waiting for the licensure examination.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or a preapproved provider.
  • 1+ years of experience in outpatient pediatric physical therapy, preferred.
