Gastroenterologist Needed to Join a Thriving Multi-Specialty Practice in Huntington, NY
The multi-specialty group has four facilities located in Huntington, Nesconset, Bayshore, and Commack. This role will be located in Huntington, at a new state-of-the-art facility which opened in the summer of 2018. Long Island is full of beautiful communities with excellent school districts, art museums, restaurants, and concert venues. Additionally, Manhattan is only a short drive or train ride away.
Mt. Sinai Doctors Long Island offers comprehensive care through its sites and is comprised of 77 physicians representing almost every medical and surgical specialty.
The chosen candidate will become part of a multi-specialty group in the heart of Long Island joining a team of 4 Gastroenterologists.
The candidate will be located in Huntington only, and must have an interest in both inpatient and outpatient, but the position will be mainly ambulatory (approximately 80%). Physicians in the group have opportunities for teaching if interested.
Position Description:
Full-time Gastroenterologist for Long Island
Serve a diverse population and live in a highly desirable neighborhood with excellent school districts and numerous cultural activities
Practice is both inpatient and outpatient, but mainly ambulatory
Support Staff:
RN's and MA's
Call is equally shared
EMR System:
EPIC

Position Qualifications:
Medical Degree from an Accredited University
New York Medical License
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology
Committed to Mount Sinai and the communities we serve
Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital/community need.
As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range, and in certain circumstances, may wind up being outside of the listed salary range.
The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits.
