Job Summary

We are seeking a Registered Nurse Ambulatory Specialty Lead to join our team at Novant Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for assisting providers by preparing patients for medical exams, assessments, and telephone triage. In partnership with the clinic administrator, you will ensure the implementation and success of NHMG goals, organize and direct the clinical environment, and coordinate teams to provide quality patient care in physician practices.

About the Role

The Registered Nurse serves as a leader of the healthcare team at Novant Health by establishing an authentic personalized relationship with the patient and their chosen support system. You will collaborate with physicians and other team members to assess, plan, implement, delegate, and evaluate an individualized plan of care that promotes optimal health or supports creating an environment that allows team members to be present with patients and families. You will utilize best scientific evidence and compassion to assist the patient in navigating their health journey.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Assisting providers with patient preparation for medical exams, assessments, and telephone triage
  • Ensuring the implementation and success of NHMG goals in partnership with the clinic administrator
  • Organizing and directing the clinical environment to provide quality patient care
  • Coordinating teams to ensure effective care is given to patients
  • Leading the healthcare team at Novant Health by establishing personalized relationships with patients and their support systems

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • An Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Current RN licensure in the appropriate state
  • Excellent human relation skills, effective oral and written communication skills, leadership and problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate a personal computer
