Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Talent Development Intern to join our team in Lexington, KY or North Bethesda, MD. As a Talent Development Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of talent development, including performance management, employee engagement, project management, and case studies.

This is a unique opportunity to develop essential skills in the manufacturing industry while working closely with experienced HR professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performance Management: Support the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and talent calibration. Assist with the administration of performance management tools and systems.
  • Employee Engagement: Contribute to employee engagement initiatives, such as surveys, team-building activities, and recognition programs. Analyze employee feedback to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
  • Project Management: Assist with the planning, execution, and evaluation of talent development projects. Track project timelines and deliverables to ensure timely completion. Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and manage expectations.
  • Case Study: Work alongside fellow interns to analyze a real-world business challenge and present innovative solutions to senior leadership.

Requirements:
  • Academic Excellence: Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, graduating in December 2025 or May 2026, with a minimum 3.5 GPA.
  • Strong Work Ethic: Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the internship period.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: A passion for problem-solving and a desire to drive results.
  • Legal Authorization: Ability to provide proof of legal right to work in the United States.
  • Location Requirement: Ability to commute to our Lexington, KY or North Bethesda, MD office to work onsite for at least 3 days a week.

Estimated salary: $18/hour ($30,240/year), based on 40 hours/week, 12 weeks/summer.
