Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our team at Ortho Rhode Island. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe and effective patient care in accordance with Ortho RI policy and procedure.
  • Assist with the preparation, maintenance, and after-care of sterile and un-sterile supplies and equipment.
  • Function as a certified scrub technician in the operating room/procedure room under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
  • Participate in scheduled performance appraisals and demonstrate dedication to ongoing performance improvement.
  • Communicate all relevant patient information to physician, Facility Manager, and appropriate staff in a safe and confidential manner.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • BLS required.
  • At least one year of experience as a Surgical Technician in the OR.
Work Environment

This job operates in an ambulatory surgical center. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Physical Demands

This position requires mobility, frequent walking, standing, and sitting, some bending, stooping, and stretching, and periodic lifting of up to 50 lbs.
