Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team at SAIC. In this role, you will work on engineering and development of a mission-critical application utilizing technologies/products for a Department of Defense (DoD) customer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for VMWare support in a development environment.
  • Provide network integration, configuration and network administration support.
  • Expertise in testing, configuration and documentation of network systems.
  • Participate in resolving technical issues and troubleshooting the system that may arise during integration, implementation and test.
  • Provide technical direction, guidance and training to less experienced staff.
  • Interface with management, customers and team regularly.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related major with 9 years' experience. Experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
  • Must have an Active Secret Clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance after start.
  • Must have a CompTIA Security + certification.
  • Must be able to obtain Department of Defense (DoD) IAT 2 certification 6 months after start.
  • MS Windows (Windows Server 2008 or 2012 preferred) Certificate of course completion is required. Formal proctored test and registration with Microsoft is not. Cisco OS Certifications can be used in place of MS certifications.
  • MCITP (Enterprise Administrator or Server Administrator), MCSA or MCSE can be substituted for the Windows Server certification.
  • VMWare Experience.
  • Working knowledge of CISCO Networks and equipment for network and serial communications.
  • Excellent Communications Skills are imperative.
  • Establish equipment configurations in support of operational requirements.
  • Firewall configuration.
  • Experience with backup and restoring systems.
  • Ability to design and implement network architecture.
  • Candidate should have strong computer and networking skills and demonstrate a working knowledge of current applicable military and commercial standards and specifications.

Salary Range: $120,001 - $160,000
