Job Overview

We are seeking an Automotive Lube Specialist to enhance our service department. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in automotive technology, complemented by ASE certification or a relevant technical degree. Daily responsibilities will include evaluating systems to ensure optimal functionality, conducting test drives, and accurately diagnosing and repairing vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and verify that systems and components are secure and functioning correctly.
  • Identify systems or components that may have led to issues.
  • Perform test drives and inspect fluid levels, refilling as necessary.
  • Ensure proper tire pressure and maintain cleanliness and lubrication of fittings.
  • Install new oil drain plugs and filters, communicating oil levels to colleagues.
  • Maintain high efficiency and precision in diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
  • Proactively repair or replace worn components to prevent vehicle breakdowns.
  • Utilize power tools, machine tools, and standard hand tools for various tasks.
Qualifications
  • Thorough understanding of automotive systems and quick diagnostic skills.
  • Strong analytical and communication abilities, with a desire for continuous improvement.
  • Capacity to learn new technologies, repair methods, and specifications.
  • Proficient in operating electronic diagnostic tools.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • ASE Certification or Technical degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of one year experience in a service department.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
