Job Summary:

The Recruiting Coordinator is a key member of the MedFleet Ambulance team, responsible for all aspects of hiring and retaining high-quality EMTs, Paramedics, and EMS Support Staff. This role serves as the primary point of contact for community outreach and recruitment efforts.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to meet current and future staffing needs
• Coordinate the placement of advertisements and marketing materials to attract top talent
• Facilitate employee committees to work on recruiting and retention efforts
• Coordinate the staffing of recruiting booths and personally staff booths as needed
• Maintain and actively manage MedFleet's social media accounts to promote employment opportunities
• Attend community events and meetings to build relationships and promote the company
• Assist with coordinating special events such as EMS Week and employee recognition programs

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Valid Driver's License
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills (office, windows)
• Ability to travel within the state of Florida

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
• Current Florida State EMT certification or previous experience in EMS
• Experience in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding

Work Environment:

This role requires occasional walking, carrying up to 25 pounds, kneeling, stooping, bending, and leaning. The position also involves frequent hearing, listening, clear speech, touching, and typing, as well as constant sitting and seeing.
