About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse RN NICU III to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest. As a Registered Nurse RN NICU III, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for assigned patients in the NICU and Newborn Nursery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for assigned patients in the NICU and Newborn Nursery.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures for the NICU.
  • Manage all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment.
  • Participate in activities to plan, measure, assess, and improve the quality of patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Current RN license in Texas or Compact License.
  • BCLS certification required.
  • NRP certification within 90 days of hire.
  • STABLE preferred.
  • 1 year of current NICU experience required or participation in a training program.

The estimated salary for this position is $93,000 - $121,000 per year, depending on experience.
