Job Description:

As a Medical Care Specialist at United Surgical Partners International, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care in a hospital setting. This includes planning, directing, organizing, coordinating, and implementing all nursing care services.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care
  • Maintain compliance with professional nursing standards, The Joint Commission, and Federal and State standards of care
  • Care for patients of all ages, from adolescents to middle adults

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • At least 1-year experience as an RN in a hospital setting on an L&D unit
  • RN licensure, current in the State of Texas
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certification required within 90 days of employment
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 90 days of employment
