QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid LPN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
- Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical clinical experience as an LPN.
- Must demonstrate flexibility and willingness to work in various units as assigned.
- Current CPR certification or completion within 30 days of employment; ACLS certification required within 6 months, and PALS certification is preferred.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must possess the strength and endurance for extended periods of walking, standing, and managing stressful situations.
- Ability to see adequately or correctable with glasses for reading and writing tasks.
- Able to hear, or correctable with hearing devices, and capable of conversing with others in person and over the phone.
- Must be able to hear, see, and feel to accurately assess, monitor, and provide care.
- Capable of frequently lifting at least 60 lbs., reaching, pulling, pushing, bending, stooping, and kneeling.
- Possess fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination necessary for providing care (e.g., inserting catheters, administering medications, and handling instruments).
- Able to work in an environment with latex exposure.
