As a Registered Nurse Float Specialist with Christus Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This position requires a skilled and compassionate nurse who can work independently and as part of a team to deliver exceptional care to patients in various clinical settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide routine and complex care to patients, demonstrating a strong understanding of clinical nursing principles and practices.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Make informed decisions and take initiative to address patient concerns and needs.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
- At least 3 years of RN experience in Medical Surgical, with a strong track record of providing high-quality patient care.
- Current RN License in the state of employment or compact.
- Current certifications in BLS, PALS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, Moderate Sedation, de-escalation training, arrhythmia recognition, and NIHSS.
Work Environment:
This is a full-time position that requires flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting, communicate clearly and respectfully with patients and colleagues, and maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity.
