Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Egg Packaging Team Member - Operations Specialist to join our team at Michael Foods Inc. in Lenox, Iowa. As an Egg Packaging Team Member - Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for operating automatic box erection, flap control, bag insertion and labeling equipment. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the efficient and accurate packaging of egg products, adhering to company standards and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with our production team to ensure a smooth and safe production process, maintaining high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations. Responsibilities:
  • Set up and clean equipment prior to the scheduled start time to ensure on-time start-ups.
  • Operate case erector, flap controller, bag inserter, and labeling machines.
  • Provide the correct packaging materials to box machines.
  • Perform quality checks on products, ensuring correct packaging and labels.
  • Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMPs, and maintain sanitary conditions.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • One to three months related experience and/or training.
  • Able to attain forklift certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to effectively present information to customers and employees.
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
