School Psychologist Position: Supporting Students with Special Needs

At Partners in Special Education, we seek a highly skilled and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional assessment and counseling skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned School Psychologist to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students with special needs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic services, counseling, and recommendations to support students' academic and personal growth.

The successful candidate will have a valid California Pupil Personnel Services Credential with school psychology authorization and a Master's degree in School Psychology or a related field. Five years of experience in school psychology is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' cognitive, social-emotional, and academic strengths and challenges.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that address students' unique needs and goals.
  • Counsel students and their families to promote understanding and cooperation in achieving student success.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement strategies that support students' academic and personal growth.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Valid California Pupil Personnel Services Credential with school psychology authorization.
  • Five years of experience in school psychology is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $74,511 - $86,629 per year, based on experience and location. Benefits include a competitive salary, opportunities for professional growth and development, and a supportive work environment.
