Cogdell Memorial Hospital is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory care and be able to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

**Job Summary:**

We are looking for a Respiratory Therapist to provide basic and advanced respiratory care services to patients of all ages. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the effectiveness of respiratory care plans.

**Responsibilities:**

* Provide respiratory care services to patients of all ages, including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
* Plan, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of respiratory care plans
* Perform both basic and advanced therapeutic procedures, including arterial puncture, electrocardiogram, blood gas analysis, pulmonary function tests, and pharmacologic and treadmill stress tests
* Maintain knowledge of all current methods of respiratory care, including the necessary equipment
* Assemble, check, correct malfunctions, calibrate, and perform quality controls on all respiratory care equipment
* Safely and effectively administer medication as ordered by physician and/or protocol
* Effectively communicate changes in the respiratory care plan with other healthcare team members
* Work effectively with others and independently, demonstrating leadership and ability to work under pressure

**Requirements:**

* Must be a graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy
* Must be currently licensed as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of Texas
* Successful completion of Neonatal Resuscitation certification
* Current ALS, BLS, and PALS
* Three (3) or more years of previous experience in all aspects of cardiopulmonary services
