Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist - Tool & Die Specialist to join our team at Trillium Staffing. As a Manual Machinist - Tool & Die Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and fabricating tools, dies, and fixtures. You will also perform basic machining operations on manual lathes, mills, and grinders, and assist with the maintenance and repair of tools and dies under the guidance of senior machinists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain, repair, and fabricate tools, dies, and fixtures to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Perform basic machining operations on manual lathes, mills, and grinders to produce high-quality parts and components.
• Assist senior machinists with the maintenance and repair of tools and dies, and provide support with troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate and efficient production.
• Assist with the fabrication of simple jigs, fixtures, and tooling components to support production needs.
• Ensure a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards and regulations.
• Document maintenance and repair activities as required to maintain accurate records.

Requirements:

• Manual machining skills and experience.
• Two plus years of manual machining experience.
