Job Title: IT Manager

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to join our team at nLIGHT DEFENSE Systems, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and implementing the practices, processes, and tools that enable company-wide high-performance engineering and business operations.

**Responsibilities:**

* Supervise and manage the local IT team members
* Implement and maintain CMMC compliance, NIST SP, STIG configurations, and other US government cybersecurity initiatives
* Oversee the overall cybersecurity and physical security profile for the company
* Install, troubleshoot, and repair computer hardware, software, and peripherals
* Coordinate equipment repairs with vendors
* Respond to incoming IT requests via walk-ups, phone, or email
* Develop and document process and procedures for IT and end users
* Secure Windows server and system administration, including imaging, maintaining, troubleshooting, patching, and repairing environments
* Perform preventive maintenance, analysis of system faults, troubleshooting, and running diagnostic tests on operating system and hardware to detect problems and repair system/environment issues
* Support network connectivity and troubleshooting
* Implement, troubleshoot, and maintain Active Directory Group Policy

**Requirements:**

* 8 years of experience in IT, with at least 2 years of experience leading collaborative teams
* Strong organizational skills with experience in issue tracking and resolution methods
* Experience with MS Office 365 applications and tools from an IT implementation and maintenance perspective
* Install, support, and maintain client and server operating systems
* Experience with NIST SP cybersecurity framework
* Experience with administration of server-based networked systems, network storage, firewalls, and switches
* Experience with installing, troubleshooting, and repairing computer hardware and software and peripherals
* Develop policies and procedures for IT Staff and end users
* Develop training for IT Staff and end users

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Experience with GCC High Administration
* Experience with IT budget planning and monitoring
