Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring delivery of positive clinical outcomes and resident/family satisfaction. As a Charge Nurse, you will serve as a resource to all staff within the facility, providing direct resident care when required and effectively managing nursing personnel on shift.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents, ensuring positive clinical outcomes and resident/family satisfaction.
  • Provide direct resident care when required, including administering medications and treatment timely and according to facility policy.
  • Effectively manage nursing personnel on shift to limit use of overtime and agency personnel.
  • Assess the work performance of nursing staff as it relates to unit standards of care and goals.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings on each shift and provide updates to the Director of Nursing.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an approved Licensed Vocational program and licensed in the state of practice, required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification (All SNFs; ALFs as required by state).
