Job SummaryWe are seeking a Flex Security Officer to join our team. As a Flex Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a positive environment and experience for guests at assigned client sites. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking for a second or third income, retired, or seeking employment outside the standard full-time or part-time availability.
Responsibilities- Observe and report activities and incidents at assigned client sites, providing for client property and personnel security and safety.
- Makes periodic patrols to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment.
- Preserves orders and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site about personnel, visitors, and premises.
- Controls access to client sites or facilities through the admittance process.
- Patrol assigned site on foot or in vehicle; check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons.
- Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
- Responds to fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents.
- Prepares logs and reports as required.
- Must meet city/state requirements and/or certifications to perform guard duties.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have reliable means of communication.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must have a Valid Driver's License.
- Ability to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports.
