Job Summary

Clean Earth is seeking an experienced Environmental Specialist Driver CDL B to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting and disposing of waste materials in accordance with our environmentally responsible policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pick up and transport waste safely according to all federal, state, and local rules and regulations.
  • Classify, segregate, and inventory waste containers in storage for shipment.
  • Perform various regulatory training, compliance, and safety tasks, including pre-trip inspections of vehicles and reporting losses, spills, and safety violations to supervisors.
  • Provide professional contact with customers daily in delivering, promoting, and collecting waste containers.
  • Process and prepare universal hazardous waste manifests, bills of lading, and land disposal restrictions for hazardous waste shipment according to state, EPA, and DOT regulations.
  • Perform warehouse work related to receipt, shipment, storage, distribution, or delivery of waste materials.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • CDL Class B.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to perform and maintain all assigned training related to essential functions.
  • Maintains a current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong working knowledge of environmental, regulatory, and DOT rules and regulations.
  • Knowledge of computer software applications, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to read a map.
  • DOT HAZMAT Endorsement.
  • Driver E-Log Experience.
