Database Specialist III

About the Role:
Koniag Data Solutions, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Database Specialist III to support a public health agency client, the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO).
Key Responsibilities:
• Architects' data solutions for various applications on ServiceNow and for systems integrations purposes
• Design backup processes for server and associated data
• Provide end-to-end technical support and problem resolution
• Assist with data workflows, data standards and governance
• Schedule and perform regular server maintenance
• Create database management procedures
• Evaluate data analysis models and procedures
Requirements:
• 5 or more years of experience with Agile methodology
• Experience with the ServiceNow platform and systems integration is preferred
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
• Bachelor's Degree in IT related field or equivalent work experience
• Professional Skills: excellent written and oral communications skills, ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed team environment, and ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed
Working Environment & Conditions:
This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
