Job Description

This nursing leadership role involves coordinating the activities of the Adolescent Unit during evening shifts, directing and organizing work assignments for staff members, ensuring adequate supplies and equipment, and monitoring regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited program
  • At least 2 years of RN experience, preferably in pediatrics or adolescent care
  • Current Ohio Registered Nurse licensure
  • CPR certification and willingness to obtain additional certifications as needed

Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate daily activities and ensure smooth operations on the Adolescent Unit during evening shifts
  2. Direct and assign work to staff members, ensuring effective utilization of resources
  3. Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements
  4. Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication and teamwork
  5. Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and quality outcomes
