Estimated Salary: $138,624 per year (based on 40 hours/week and $3,372 per week)
Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse in Geisinger's In-House Travel Program, you will have the opportunity to work as an in-house travel nurse, providing direct patient care and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in various specialties. You will be required to possess a minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, and current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
Key Responsibilities:
Your key responsibilities will include completing assessments, formulating plans of care, addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families, and participating in unit-based decision-making regarding the utilization of evidence-based practice. You will also be responsible for providing direct patient care, including treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies according to policy and procedure.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must possess Basic Life Support Certification and ACLS certification within one year of hire, depending on the specialty. You will also need a reliable means of transportation and be willing to travel to different locations within the Health System. Additionally, you will be required to adhere to all policies and procedures, including those related to infection control, patient confidentiality, and staff conduct.
