Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the group fitness program, ensuring adherence to the established schedule.
- Engage with members to discuss their fitness aspirations and provide instruction on safe and effective equipment usage.
- Prepare bi-weekly progress updates featuring diverse exercise routines.
- Meet class requirements in accordance with the size of the facility and member attendance.
- Assist with front desk operations, which includes:
- Responding to phone inquiries in a courteous manner and addressing various questions.
- Checking members into the system efficiently.
- Facilitating new member registrations.
- Conducting tours for potential members.
- Address member inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or Manager when necessary.
- A strong enthusiasm for fitness and wellness.
- A positive and energetic demeanor.
- Dependability and punctuality are essential.
- Outstanding customer service abilities; capable of engaging positively and professionally with members and colleagues, surpassing member expectations.
- Excellent listening skills with the capacity to empathize and resolve issues.
- Ability to maintain professionalism in all interactions, utilizing appropriate language and behavior.
- CPR/AED Certification is required.
- A Nationally Certified Training Certificate is mandatory.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
- Frequent standing and walking throughout the shift.
- Regular verbal communication in person or via phone.
- Occasional lifting of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Potential exposure to hazardous materials during the shift.
