Job Description

Position Overview:

The Warehouse Operations Coordinator will oversee the management and execution of warehouse activities and processes.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None.

Working Hours:7:30am - 4:30pm M-F

  • Incentive Program

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversees inventory management and maintains accurate records.
  • Coordinates the logistics of product movement within the warehouse, including storage and dispatch of completed goods.
  • Implements daily operational plans for production and shipping, ensuring efficient use of storage space.
  • Manages the flow of finished goods by adjusting storage assignments as necessary.
  • Verifies the availability of items for shipment by checking inventory records or conducting physical counts.
  • Identifies slow-moving inventory and, with approval, arranges for its removal.
  • Directs the activities of forklift operators to ensure proper storage of products.
  • Handles, repacks, or reorganizes pallets of finished goods as required.
  • Operates forklift equipment as needed.
  • Documents all relevant activities and completes necessary forms and reports.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
  • Manages incoming communications.
  • Handles order entry and confirmations using the P21 system.
  • Ensures cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of or ability to quickly learn product codes and terminology.
  • Comprehensive understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to make informed decisions regarding inventory.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A valid state motor vehicle operator's license for forklift operation is mandatory.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a warehouse setting is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be capable of lifting up to 55 pounds as needed.
  • Ability to navigate throughout the warehouse.

Compensation:

$20 - $22 / hr
