Role Responsibilities

The primary function of this position is to ensure that all kitchenware, including dishes, pots, pans, and utensils, are maintained in a clean and sanitary condition. Key responsibilities include:

  • Scraping and rinsing food residues from dishes, washing them by hand or utilizing dishwashing machines as necessary.
  • Washing pots, pans, and trays following established procedures to ensure cleanliness.
  • Polishing silverware using appropriate methods and equipment.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining cleanliness in the dish area.
  • Regularly sweeping and mopping kitchen floors to meet sanitation standards.
  • Cleaning work surfaces, including tables and refrigerators, to maintain a hygienic environment.
  • Managing waste disposal and maintaining cleanliness in trash areas.
  • Assisting with the transfer of supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
