Job Title: Surgical Technologist

Jackson Nurse Professionals is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Richmond, Virginia.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Surgical Technologist to assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surgical technology and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and instruments
  • Monitor and maintain aseptic conditions in the operating room
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures
Requirements:
  • Current National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) Certification
  • At minimum, current BLS required (certifications vary by location – job may require ACLS)
  • Medical Records
