Compression Technician

Certarus is a leading provider of low-carbon energy solutions through a fully integrated platform of compressed natural gas (CNG), renewable natural gas (RNG), and hydrogen. We deliver clean-burning fuels to remote communities and industrial customers not connected to a pipeline, displacing more carbon-intensive fuels and leading the energy transition.

Our Compression Technician will contribute to the preventive and corrective maintenance, application, start-up, and commissioning of Certarus' CNG compression assets. The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert in gas compression, mechanical, instrumentation, automation, and operation, ensuring safe operation and best practices of the CNG equipment.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on CNG compression equipment
• Establish dimensional requirements for parts and troubleshoot performance issues
• Commission new and end-service inspect compression assets
• Contribute to maintaining an effective spares parts and materials inventory
• Prepare mechanical maintenance reports and maintain CMMS

• Minimum 3-5 years of field service compressor experience
• Natural Gas Compression and additional OEM and industry training beneficial
• Excellent organizational and technical communication skills
• Exceptional work ethic and positive, analytical, and safe work attitude
