RN Onsite Assessor

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled RN to join our team as an Onsite Assessor for Long Term Care Insurance eligibility assessments. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for scheduling and completing assessments in the Claimant's home or facility setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer cognitive screenings (MMSE or SPMSQ) and document the Claimant's ability to complete ADL and IADL tasks.
• Document Claimant demographics, physician information, and current medication and diagnosis list.
• Coordinate scheduling with the Claimant or their point of contact and confirm appointments 24 hours prior.
• Submit completed assessment documentation within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment.
• Remain available for clarifications and refer the Client/Contact to their Long-Term Care Insurance company for any questions.

Requirements

• Current unencumbered RN licensure in state of practice.
• Must have or be willing to obtain a professional liability insurance policy.
• Must have a current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to dependable vehicle and/or public transportation.
• Minimum of 2 years of home health experience, or nursing in an equivalent area of practice serving geriatric clients.
• Must have your own computer/tablet and internet access.
