UHealth Tower is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse 1 to join our team in the Department of Surgery. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient-centered care, utilizing evidence-based standards of quality, safety, and service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide High-Quality Patient Care: Deliver culturally competent care to patients and their families, ensuring population-specific needs are met.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work effectively with physicians, mid-level providers, and other healthcare professionals to address medical concerns and resolve issues.
- Support Clinical Functions: Assist with clinical tasks within the scope of practice for all Divisions within the Department of Surgery.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Document Patient Information: Accurately document patient-related encounters and medical information in our electronic medical records.
- Participate in Quality Improvement: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Licensure: Registered Nurse License and Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required.
- Experience: No previous experience required, but a strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic healthcare environment.
