Dietary Cook

We are seeking a skilled Dietary Cook to join our team at The Willows Health and Rehab Center. As a Dietary Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing nutritious meals for our residents, ensuring their dietary needs are met, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

• Prepare and cook meals in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications and food safety regulations.
• Follow established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures.
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and supervisors to ensure their needs are met.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with the Food Service Director to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation principles.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with supervisors, co-workers, and community staff.

• Competitive hourly rate: $16.00-$18.00 per hour.
