The Certified Surgical Technician, under the direction of the supervisor, is responsible for organizing services related to a specific or group of surgical specialty(ies) to ensure quality patient care, efficient and cost-effective service, providing a focal point for information related to that service to ensure that staff and physicians have needed information; ensuring/providing continuity of care for all aspects of the perioperative period; and, managing all aspects of care to ensure that quality is assured, i.e. equipment availability; equipment functionality.

  • Responsibilities:
    • 1+ Years relevant experience
    • Must have current BLS
    • Certified through NBSTSA is good to have
    • Prepares and maintains highly complex sterile surgical setups
    • Ensure the preparation and maintenance of the sterile field
  • License/Certifications: BLS, NBSTSA

As a Certified Surgical Technician with Prime Physicians, PLLC., you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety in the operating room. This includes preparing and maintaining complex sterile surgical setups, ensuring the preparation and maintenance of the sterile field, and working collaboratively with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care.
