We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Associate/Unit Coordinator/Monitoring Technician to join our team at Norton Healthcare. As a key member of our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide basic care to patients under the direction of licensed nursing staff, including direct and indirect diagnostic, therapeutic, administrative, and service tasks.
- Apply knowledge and understanding of growth and development principles to patient and family interactions.
- Provide administrative support, including clerical, reception, admissions, communication, and coordination of tasks to facilitate smooth unit operations.
- Identify, monitor, interpret, and document rhythm strips and/or perform video monitoring of patients as assigned.
- No experience required; comprehensive on-the-job training provided.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Desired qualifications include one year of experience in a healthcare setting, Certified Nursing Assistant certification, or Basic Life Support certification.
